مکاتیب ِ اقبال بنام خان نیاز الدین خان: تعارفی و تجزیاتی مطالعہ

Abstract

Allama Iqbal is famous as a poet, thinker, philosopher and political and social aspects. Apart from his Urdu and Persian poetry, the study of his lectures, diaries and letters is very important for the understanding of his thoughts. Iqbal’s circle of friends was very wide and varied. In addition to social, political, journalistic, religious, mystical figures, correspondence with Iqbal’s admirers and dear relatives explains Iqbal’s personal and intellectual direction with excellence. Many collections of Iqbal’s letters have been published, among them a collection titled “Mukatib-i-Iqbal Banam Khan Niazuddin Khan” was first published by Bazm-i-Iqbal Lahore and later by Iqbal Academy Pakistan Lahore. In this article, the importance and value of the above-mentioned collection has been described along with the introduction of Iqbal’s correspondence, which is definitely worth the attention of the readers who are interested in Iqbaliat.
