اقبال اور رومی کا تصور عشق
Abstract
Love has a central importance in the personality and poetry of Allama Iqbal and Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi. In both of them, love is the main force in the creation of the universe and the evolution of human life. Thus, according to them, the passion of love is the reason for the origination of the universe and also the rule for determining the purpose of human existence. In our intellectual history, the famous Islamic philosopher Avicenna was the first to give the term Ishq the meaning of universal life force and called it the basis of a permanent system of philosophy. If the poetry of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi and Allama Iqbal are compared, then both of them have many similar concepts regarding love, as if the concept of love is derived from the same source. Both great poets and sages have the same characteristics of love. In this article, in the light of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi's Persian poetry i.e. Masnavi Manawi and Dewan Shams Tabriz and Allama Iqbal's Persian poetry, different aspects of the concept of love have been highlighted.
