Abstract

The ideal man (Mard-e-Momin) that has been outlined in the poetry of Allama Iqbal is researched in the nature of providing an ideal character to Iqbal as a depiction of spiritual, intellectual and moral perfection. The idea of Mard-e-Momin concerning Iqbal is examined as the way to grow self-empowerment, intellectual awakening and moral standing focusing on their impact on personal and social change in results. The qualitative approach is used in this case, including the gathering of secondary data in the form of literature reviews, scholarly interpretations and reviews of several poems and philosophical works by Iqbal to form the idea of the concept. According to the findings, Iqbal has depicted his concept of Mard-e-Momin as one who not only puts money in personal spiritual and moral growth but also brings a greater collective-social change. The idea is connected to the modern-day problem that the nation is going through in its socio-political environment. It has been determined that the findings can attest to the perennial topicality of Iqbal ideal that could give people a drive to self-empowerment and inject them with a sense of virtue that could assist in the generation of individual and social transformation.
