Linguistic Analysis of Letters of Iqbal to Ch. Muhammad Hussain

Abstract

In this research article linguistic analysis of “Letters of Iqbal to Ch. Muhammad Hussain” will be presented. These letters were published by Prof. Saqif Nafees in 1998. These letters had been written during 1923 and 1936. This was golden period of Dr. Sir Muhammad Iqbal, the poet, philosopher, Poet of the East and National Poet of Pakistan. In this article Iqbal’s prose work analyzed through syntax, semantics and lexicon terminology of linguistics. Moreover, the difference between images of the original text and the editor’s text will be highlighted.
