Abstract

At the end of the 20th century, trends were developing at the global level that threatened the concept of humanity. As a result of global imperialist thought, efforts were being made by one nation to dominate another nation. The capitalist and secular life system also led man to the path of selfishness, due to which today's man forgot his values and morality. The concept of humanity is that man be sympathetic to your fellow beings and be connected to the human race by pleasant relations and good thoughts. Complete harmony in society plays the main role to maintain healthy human interaction. Allama Iqbal has comprehensively mentioned the concept of humanity and basic values in his Urdu and Persian poetry. He has called lust as the reason for the division of mankind and has talked about universalizing brotherhood and love. According to Allama Iqbal, Western imperialism leads to ignorance, luxury and destruction of humanity. The mention of social, political and economic problems in Allama Iqbal's poetry is actually the result of his concern for humanity.
