Abstract

Dr Rafiuddin Hashmi is a very well-known scholar. Dr. Hashmi Sahib has written more than 27 books on Iqbaliyat and has taught the new generation for 35 years in institutions like Punjab University and GC University etc Lahore. Having participated in international conferences dozens of times, he is highly respected in the academic and literary circles of India as well. Iqbal scholars of both the countries have given him the status of teacher. India's leading expert on Iqbal and Professor Emeritus of Delhi University, Dr. Abdul Haq writes, "Dr. Rafiuddin Hashmi is Danai Iqbal. Prof. Rafiuddin Hashmi was awarded with many honors and prizes. In which he was awarded a scholarship by the Education Department for passing the Inter-Arts examination in 1960 from Government College Sargodha, M. Punjab University Lahore awarded you a gold medal for your first rank in Urdu. Apart from this, Anjuman Taqrigh Urdu Pakistan awarded him Babay Urdu Medal for this outstanding achievement.
