Abstract

The aim of the subject article is to analyze iqbal’s creative genius to counter European domination in material terms and romanticize oriental spiritualism. He was deep rooted in secrets of Islamic scholasticism besides having a full-handed approach in European philosophy. The exotic disciplines of erudition have no doubt enriched his scholarly talents. But to him, European civilization and culture is hollow and destablised without moral concerns. This article is conspicuous with Iqbal’s criticism-on the European mechanization and fierce materialism to drag the humanity in a new form of bondage.
