Abstract

It is a fact that every thinker, philosopher, poet and writer is influenced by the society and also creates his reciprocal impact. The poets ponder over different phenomenon of society, draw conclusions from them and bring forward the results of their thinking in the form of artistic creation. It is the influence of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and Nasir Khusro's thought and philosophy that even after so many years, the people of knowledge and wisdom are still making equal use of their ideas and thoughts. Both poets described their wisdom and philosophical thoughts  in their poetry. Iqbal, in his poetic work Javed Nama, had a spiritual meeting with Hakim Nasir Khusro in Falak-ul-Aflak. According to Iqbal, the soul of Nasir Khusro Alavi appeared there and disappeared after singing a ghazal. We can see the thoughts of Nasir Khusro Alavi on politics, religion, literature and knowledge in the poetical works of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.
