Abstract

The poetry is a reflection of multidimensional personality of Iqbal. He has used the medium of poetry for reconstruction and restoration of dignity of Muslim nation. The analysis of his poetical themes shows that he discusses various aspects of the renaissance of Muslim nations. His thought contains the themes of creation of an ideal Islamic state, an ideal Muslim, the unity of Muslim world and a deep desire of raise and dignity of Ummah. It is imperative that the thoughts of Iqbal must be a part of educational curriculum if we want to translate his dreams into reality. Awareness of his thought for young generation is inevitable for integrity and development of our country.
