Abstract

Javidnama is the magnum opus of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. This book reflects all aspects of Iqbal's thought including political, social, philosophical and religious dimensions. This article explains the historical significance, introduction of important themes and other artistic and figurative features of Javidnama. Iqbal has visited the various spheres of heaven during his spiritual entourage and met many poets, thinkers, philosopher and mystics. All these meetings have made the wisdom of all these people a part of Javidnamah. The article explains these aspects in contemporary perspective.
