Abstract

Bashir Ahmaed Nahvi is a renowned Iqbal Scholar of Kashmir. He has contributed in Iqbal studies in various dimensions. Iqbal's concept of mysticism has been an area of special interest for him. His books and many of his articles describe this topic in detail. As tasawuf has been a debating topic in our history, similarly Iqbal and tasawuf remained a point of debate in Iqbal studies. Dr. Bashir Ahmad Nahvi has well addressed this topic in his writings. He not only described that role of tasawuf but also explained the relationship and perspective of tasawuf in Iqbal Studies. This article describes the details of the contribution of Dr. Bashir Ahmad Nahvi in Iqbal Studies.
