Abstract

Role of "Maternalism" regarding the internship and Character building the nations has great significance in Iqbal's thinking. The revolutionary concept of feminism, acquired unique, imposing and powerful place in his poetry. Islamic Sharia did not bless the woman only with an esthetic and delicate figure of society but she is given the responsibility to upbringing the nations and purification their souls with spiritual and Islamic teachings. Iqbal also gave the new life to concept of " Young Muslim" who learns the Islamic teachings in the lap of his mother. In this regard ; he put forward the role model of Hazret Fatima(RA), who has prominent place in willingness to God Almighty, patience, worship and obsequy in the History of Islam. In Iqbal,s philosophy we found the evolutionary thought about maternalism which may help full in construction of society. He has strong desire that women may enjoy the right of education and respectable place in the society. In this paper, it will be discussed that How much influence of mother in character building with spiritual essence of the nations?
