Abstract

In this essay, different dimensions of study in Iqbaliyat have been discussed. To the author, unidimensional study of Iqbal is not very useful. For Iqbal, human personality is unique whole and all aspects of it's consciousness are also unique in their nature. He makes the scientific, moral, aesthetic, social, economic and political consciousness of human being the subject of his philosophical discourse at the same time. The motive of Iqbal's poetry is his Deen and faith. Therefore, the basis of his poetry is the holy book and the seerah of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Poetic intuition of Iqbal has three fundamental aspects: Faith, Passion and Knowledge. In his lectures, Iqbal has told three sources of knowledge i.e history, observation and intuition. In Iqbal's thought, both theoretical and physical sciences are combined together and are then forcefully reflected in his pros and poem.
In this essay, the social consciousness of Iqbal, his philosophy of history, his idea of individual and society and political or economic consciousness has been discussed in quite detail.
