Abstract

The under-review article presented those thoughts and concepts of Iqbal, which were typically related to Women. Women, in general, is never considered equal in a male dominated society, neither do women have the chance to get benefited from exercising equal human rights, men have grabbed their entire possession. Iqbal has, however, differentiated the human rights of men and women distinctly from their perspective gender rights. He contemplates both men and women equivalent in their Human rights however, he set both men and women apart from each other in the standpoint of their gender rights. Iqbal establishes specific emphasis only on those peculiar gender rights of men and women which have been explicitly scrutinized in Islam. In this article, an effort was made to observe and understand exceptionally the distinctive thoughts and imaginative concepts of Iqbal in the light of religious and contemporary social ideas.
